Public Sustainability Partnership

The Public Sustainability Partnership (PSP), a 501(c)3 public benefit corporation, was created for the express purpose of implementing our nation's aggressive sustainability policy goals.

While there is a general perception that we do not have enough resources to do all that needs to be done, our seasoned founders believe we can do much more, and more quickly, by investing our limited resources more strategically. Our goal is to create dynamic forums for sharing – of knowledge, tools, practices, and investments – that minimize overlaps and enable us to achieve economic and timely results.

PSP’s primary role in the Alliance program is to significantly increase voluntary adoption of sustainability through the following strategies:

  • To build demand for sustainability;
  • To bring partners and participants to the Alliance’s program; and
  • To create a seamless conduit for collaborative advancement of sustainability best practices between California and the rest of the nation.

To this end, PSP brings its network of national leaders in sustainability initiatives to facilitate the Alliance’s access to knowledge and resources beyond California’s borders.
