Strategic Energy Innovations (SEI), a nonprofit organization established in 1997, acts as a bridge to sustainability--helping to empower schools and universities, small businesses, local governments, affordable housing agencies, and agricultural communities to reduce pollution and save money through energy and resource efficiency. SEI is a Marin County-certified green business, and a minority, women-owned business.
SEI staff helps our partners, clients, and communities define their needs and assemble resources to embrace a more sustainable future: a future that is more energy, water, and resource efficient, contributing to better air quality and quality of life. To do this, our staff unites people from key organizations and businesses, creating a forum for sharing issues, experiences, and solutions. Working with the issues clients raise, SEI then facilitates the development and design of real-world solutions to address their needs.
SEI's primary role in the California Sustainability Alliance is to provide technical assistance and research support for pilot programs. SEI also implements and manages the affordable housing pilot program.
