The inaugural California Sustainability Alliance Showcase Awards luncheon was hosted in Sacramento, California in early February, 2009. The 2008 Showcase Awards recognized and celebrated the success of organizations that demonstrate exemplary leadership in sustainability. The recipients were the Inland Empire Utilities Agency, Thomas Properties Group and the University of California. Award recipients, along with guest speakers and keynote speaker Rosario Marin (former U.S. Treasurer), gathered at the event to celebrate and recognize these organizations' outstanding sustainability efforts.
