EAH Housing is aligning development projects with transit-oriented development (TOD) principles. . EAH is developing city-centered workforce housing that enables people of all income levels to live within walking distance of transit and jobs. The EAH community Camelia Place was a central piece of Dublin’s award-winning BART Transit Center. Drake’s Way, an EAH communityin Larkspur, allows low- and very low-income residents to live within walking distance of the ferry to San Francisco, the central bus hub of Marin County, a retail center, open space and hundreds of jobs. The development, which will soon receive LEED Silver Certification, features local and recycled construction materials, a solar-powered community center, and water and energy conservation.
