Eden Housing’s Affordable Housing Podcast is a series of short audio programs that explore the issues and challenges that affordable housing faces today from the federal, state, and local perspectives. Since its creation in 2008, the Affordable Housing Podcast has reached hundreds of listeners through more than 36,000 downloads. The podcasts have been very effective in educating stakeholders about topics related to affordable housing.

Several podcast episodes have focused on “green” topics that demonstrate Eden’s commitment to sustainability and sharing information with the affordable housing community.  Some “green” podcast episodes include:    “Creating Energy Efficient Buildings through Stimulus Package”, “Green Building," “Multifamily Affordable Solar Housing "MASH" by PG&E." “Promoting healthy, energy- and resource-efficient building practices," and most recently  “Green Buildings: It's not just the buildings, it's how we live in them that matters!:  A panel discussion on engaging residents and staff in creating greener communities.”  You can hear these and all other Affordable Housing Podcast episodes on the Eden Housing website, or you can subscribe to them on iTunes<
