Inland Empire Utilities Agency - Planning
PLANNING: WATER
IEUA was initially created in 1950 for the purpose of delivering supplemental potable water to the region. IEUA’s responsibilities have expanded to a leadership role in identification and development of new cost-effective water supplies for the parched Chino Basin.
IEUA leads the region’s development and use of recycled water. IEUA also plays an important role in the region’s water conservation policies and programs through its “Smart Water” Program, the Inland Empire Landscape Alliance, the multi-agency Recycled Water Groundwater Recharge Program.
